Health & Housing Inspector Town of Adams The Community Development Department seeks qualified applicants for the position of Health & Housing Inspector.
Serves as the Town's health agent inspecting residential properties for compliance with the State Sanitary Code and Board of Health's apartment inspection program; conducts food inspections; provides interpretation/ enforcement of other related health laws, regulations, and federal standards.
General knowledge of public health programs, food safety, building construction.
Excellent communications skills; ability to interpret and enforce code requirements and related regulations firmly, tactfully, and impartially.
Five years responsible experience in public health, building construction or design, or similar field, or any equivalent combination.
