Senior Manager of Operations

Fiscal functions - Preparation of spending plans, prepare and monitor annual budget, make recommendations on budget actions to ensure proper spending and good business practices to support the agency mission.
Work with Administration and Finance, Legislature and the Executive Director to prepare future fiscal year budgets.
Prepare financial reports and manage fiscal year contracts, review encumbrances for office expenditures and monitor the payments to vendors.
Monitor the contracting process for vendors and contract employees.
Develop and maintain policies and procedures that ensure the most effective utilization of agency resources.
Oversee payroll/personnel functions including hiring, termination, salaries & benefits.
Use professional judgment and individual discretion, as appropriate regarding confidential and sensitive employee issues.
Maintain strong communications with staff and management.
Manage implementation of IT systems used by the agency.
Collaborate with and monitor Bar Examination Testing:
Test Administration - Work with full staff on administration of the semi-annual bar examination.
Collaborate on proctor management and payment.
Review and coordinate email communications to examinees.
Develop initiatives to ensure maximum efficiency for the agency.
Work on the venue contract to ensure a location for each bar exam.
Work with Director of Testing in coordination of bar exam results.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Administration degree or higher (JD preferred) Supervisory experience Recommended Skills Accounting Administration Business Ethics Communication Finance Financial Management Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
